Expect a few more lights to fill up our Kamloops skyline in 2013
Kamloops This Week reported today that in 2012 more building permits were handed out than within the last 5 years – over $200 million worth in fact. Big projects such as the new Telus Centre take up the lion’s share of the commercial building in Kamloops but a massive number of residential projects will be underway in 2013. Either way, you’re likely to see a lot of construction in Kamloops in 2013 and while some of you may furrow your brows at the sounds of hammers and nails as brick and mortar go up you have to admit that this kind of growth is simply good for our city.
